Y'all. I did it. 150 miles. In 8 weeks.
I shared a little about what I've been up to lately last week. A big part of my life is the Tone It Up program. Right now, they are finishing up an 8-week Bikini Series. Part of the series was to take a 100 by Summer or 150 by Summer challenge. Since I'm always up for a challenge, I did the 150 by Summer challenge.
This morning, I completed my 150th mile! I don't think I've ran this much in my entire life. I've come to enjoy running, especially in the mornings, when the sun is shining through the trees and my morning run playlist is on in my earbuds. It's quite relaxing and a great way to start my day!
I feel the best that I have since high school and I'm so happy to be eating better and exercising every day. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy some desserts and country cooking every now and then!
It felt so good to circle that last number this morning! There's nothing like setting an ambitious goal and reaching it. Some days I sure didn't feel like running, especially if it had to wait until the afternoon and was about 170 degrees outside. But I'm so glad I did it! I'm at work and still excited about it!
